List of Remembrance Day services in southeast Queensland

SUNDAY, November 11 marks the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended WWI.

In the four years of WWI, more than 330,000 Australians served overseas and more than 60,000 of them died.

Each year on November 11, Australians observe one minute’s silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.

Here’s where to attend events to mark the anniversary across southeast Queensland:

BRISBANE

CLEVELAND

Troop Train, An Enogerra Company troop will be ferried by train from Central Station to Cleveland and will march up to Anzac Centenary Park, 10.30am service

GOLD COAST

Narangba Concert, Free concert at Narangba Valley State School, 2.30pm to 5pm
