And Manchester United have recently emerged as one of the clubs who have been contacted.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad could well be added to before the end of January.
And when quizzed specifically on United, Carrasco’s wife Noemie Happart told Belgium TV station RBTF: “Yes, they’re very interested.
“I don’t hide it but nothing has been signed.
“Yannick likes China, but it’s a very different culture and we are far away from our families and friends.

“We’ll see what happens and how it unfolds, but it is possible we’ll return to Europe.”
Arsenal have also been touted as a potential destination in recent weeks.
Discussing the array of sides keen, Happart added: “There is a lot going on.
“He has received offers from many clubs in Germany, Spain, England and Italy.
“But nothing is concrete and nothing has been signed.”
Carrasco would offer United more quality in attack, as he plays primarily on the wing.
Alexis Sanchez is struggling for fitness and form at present, while Anthony Martial’s long-term future is still up in the air.
