One man killed in domestic stabbing in Sydney's north-west

One man is dead and a woman is in a critical condition after a domestic stabbing Sydney’s north-west.

Emergency services rushed to a property in North Richmond just before 11am today following reports a man had been stabbed.

Upon arriving at the scene NSW ambulance paramedics discovered a man in his 40s had died as a result of stab wounds.

A woman, believed to be in her 60s, was also treated at the scene and taken to Westmead hospital in a critical condition. It is unclear as to the nature of her injuries.

Another woman in her 40s sustained minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.

Two young girls, both aged 13, were inside the home at the time of the stabbing but were unharmed.

Police from Hawkesbury Police Area Command have established a crime scene at the home and investigations are continuing.
