Thirsty work! Kyle Sandilands ‘develops fruit-infused wine product’ following success of coconut water brand … as he earns ‘$45,000 a day’

Kyle Sandilands is growing his business empire, one beverage at a time.

The KIIS FM host, 47, has now ‘developed a fruit-infused wine product from hand-selected vineyards in premium Australian wine regions’.

Speaking of brand Nueva Sangria with The Daily Telegraph on Sunday, Kyle said the drink ‘moves beyond its Spanish roots to become more sophisticated’.

Kyle added that the drink sits ‘somewhere between a cocktail and fine wine’.

The publication reports that Kyle has ‘partnered up’ with Australian winemakers Sam Bowman and David Kynaston for Nueva Sangria.

It is believed that Kyle launched the drink on Saturday, at an iHeartRadio event in association with KIIS FM and Married At First Sight in Sydney.

The new business venture comes after Kyle launched H2Coco in 2014, a brand offering everything from coconut water to organic virgin coconut oil.

When H2Coco was first announced, it was reported that King Kyle Investments owned 23 per cent of the business.

Nueva Sangria will surely add to Kyle’s growing fortune.

In August 2018, the shock jock revealed that he earns a staggering ‘$45,000 a day’, while live on Brisbane’s hit105 radio program, Stav, Abby & Matt.

During the broadcast, Abby Coleman had joked how Matty Acton had received a $220 speeding ticket while filling in for Kyle on the radio.

‘Do you want me to spot you that money? I do earn $45,000 a day so I’m happy to pay,’ responded Kyle. ‘I’ll pay it for you. It’s the least I can do.’

If Kyle earns that fee each day of the year, that would give the star a yearly income of approximately $16.4 million.
